Motifkit was built to solve workflow frustrations for composer. The flagship product is MotifKit Sketchpad, a browser-based orchestral MIDI sketchpad. It also includes smaller tools like a circle of fifths with mood-based chord progressions, and a MIDI ostinato generator.
