ArkWarden
Encrypt and hide photos on iPhone. No account, no server, no ads.
About ArkWarden
ArkWarden https://arkwarden.app is an encrypted vault for iPhone. Apple's Hidden album opens with your iPhone passcode; ArkWarden doesn't. Photos, videos, documents and audio are each encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM.
You unlock by drawing a pattern on a 5x5 grid. It runs through PBKDF2 and combines with a key held in your iPhone's Secure Enclave, so copied vault data alone cannot be unlocked on another device. Your pattern is never stored.
Optional two-factor authentication: Face ID, Touch ID, a PIN, or a YubiKey over NFC. A second pattern opens a separate vault with its own files and appearance. Shoot photos and video inside the app so they never reach your camera roll, and organize files into folders.
No account, no server, no ads. Backups are optional and off by default: your own iCloud or an exported file, encrypted on the iPhone before it leaves. A 12 or 24 word recovery phrase restores access if you forget your pattern.
The encryption core is open source.
